I had the honor of ministering in one of the founding moments of The Encounter, a young work located in Calhoun, Georgia, and pastored by Pastor Bryan and Rebekah Davis. I left with an excitement about Encounter Church’s vision and what they are doing for God’s Kingdom in that region.
I so enjoyed Pastors Bryan and Rebekah Davis and their family, and I found them to be honest and trustworthy people. Bryan became closely connected with our ministry as a young man after reading several of my books. He and Rebekah are part of Rev. Rod Parsley’s World Harvest Ministerial Association, and they are truly a power couple, working effectively together to advance God’s Kingdom.
I want to recommend this powerful new work in Calhoun, Georgia, to you! The Davises are right on target with what the Holy Spirit is doing on the earth in this hour, working to cultivate a Spirit-filled church without shame — a church that is pursuing revival as a lifestyle. The name,The Encounter describes what the pastors and their congregation are working at.They want their church to be a place where people encounter God’s love, power, and presence and have their lives changed forever. Calhoun, Georgia, is blessed to have this new work planted there!
The Encounter is a place where you can get involved, learn how to take your place in the work of God’s Kingdom, and become a vital part of a life-giving, contemporary move of the Spirit today!
